About this site

Subud NZ web site 2006

This website has been in the making for some time, this is version 3, and hopefully the last for a while. I have tried to fit as much as I can into this site to make it interesting and useful, my time of late has been limitied, so there is still alot that can be done. I will continually improve the site and add to it when I have time.

There is some debate in regards to how much information to allow the general public to see (Check the Subud Sydney discussion in regards to this matter) it is generally regarding people privacy, and understandable this is when there seems to be some ..., I suggest we define some 'site' policies of our own, these can be added to a discussion forum which I have in mind for the site once it is member verified.

I would like to see a members area, with 'login' ability, each registered member assigned a username and password, there would still be sensitive information that would not be placed upon the site, and any members may elect to have their contact details available in an electronic address list available for download.

It is up to the members how much and what content is available, no doubt there will be debate to come. There will be no personal details on this site for those that do not wish. For those that wish it, they can elect it. Working on the site can be time consuming, and there I would welcome any help from the more technically minded among us that have website development knowledge or just an interest to learn.

Some good ideas are springing up in regards to getting the most out of this site, one of those are an online calendar of events, gatherings, kedjiwaan weekends, helper visits etc.
