Christchurch has a wide range of venues suited to all sorts of events - from the various meeting and seminar rooms offered by hotels throughout the city, to the purpose built Christchurch Convention Centre and Town Hall complex.

For the Subud World Congress, there will be a number of venues. All very close to one another. Latihans , Plenary Sessions, General Meetings, and Performing Arts, will be held in the Convention Centre and the Town Hall. These two sites are linked by an Overbridge. Immediately adjacent to the Town Hall is the Crowne Plaze Hotel which is also linked to the Town Hall by an indoor walkway. This has additional meeting rooms.

Youth activities and Child Care will be in the Cathedral Grammar School, two blocks to the west of the Convention Centre.

Another location for both youth and dining will be in the Caledonian Hall which is located one block to the east of the Convention Centre. This holds 250 people at a time.

A second dining location will be in the Civic Centre located about a 7 or 8 minute walk from the Convention Centre. Four Hundred may be seated at one time in this building.

A third dining area for the budget conscious will be in Victoria Square, immediately outside of the Convention Centre. There will be a series of outdoor vendor stalls situated in that area. One of these vendors has been very receptive to this possibility.

The fourth dining area will be within the Convention Centre and Town Hall area itself. This will be very convenient, although cost somewhat more than the other locations. This can seat 300 people at a time.

There are additional meeting rooms in nearby hotels (within 4 blocks) as the need arises.
